Changing your MAC address
A MAC address is the unique code burned into every network device (wired or wireless). Why is it useful to change your MAC address? Of the many reasons, one that comes to mind is for non-browser-enabled devices like wifi phones that want to connect to free networks. Many free networks require that you first acknowledge a TOS, terms of service, by simply clicking a button on a web page. This also applies to paid networks like the ones that hotels offer. Another use for paid networks is if you want to switch computers but not have to pay twice.
So, where do I get it?
