Still on Windows? Quick, buy a Macintosh, before Vista sucks you down.
Mac vs. Windows
- They're stable. No blue screen of death (unless you run Windows on it).
- No viruses. Somehow people don't seem to mind losing their files to a Windows virus.
- They're well designed. Not just the box, but the hardware and software are better than any PC.
- They're easy to use. Switching to a Mac is easier than continuing with Windows (that sucks).
Sleep
Make the Mac sleep via the command line: pre pmset sleepnow /pre
